An NFL football helmet makes the perfect gift for any real fan of the game. Finding a replica helmet is simple and you have your choice of teams for the product. These items can be found in some sports catalogues but you might have an easier time searching for one on the World Wide Web.
I chose to purchase a NFL football helmet for my husband and he is thrilled with the product. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a replica but the helmet is constructed of quality material and it is very durable. We know because we have put it through some punishment.
Finding the right product took no time at all and I was happy that the item was so easy to order as well. The site did everything for me. All I had to do was choose my team and the rest fell right into place. Within a few minutes, my husband’s brand new NFL football helmet was on its way to our house.
The NFL football helmet is full size and I have to admit that I didn’t expect the item to be that big. This impressive product looks exactly like the ones worn by the pros. In fact, I still have no idea what the difference is. The helmet comes in the authentic team colors and the team’s logo decals are displayed on each side.

The face mask is made out of real metal. This came as a pleasant surprise as well. I was kind-of expecting a plastic face mask but this NFL helmet offers one in steel. The metal is covered with a type of vinyl coat that makes it less harsh, not that my husband really cares about soft lines.
The realistic NFL football helmet not only has the steel face mask but it also offers a jaw strap and padding that seems to be standard for the pros. This is one of the most outstanding sports equipment replicas I have ever purchased and I have purchased quite a bit.
Real football helmet enthusiasts can test their knowledge about the sports equipment at about.com. There is an online quiz that serves as a real challenge for many of us. You can score as high as Head Coach or as low as Towel Boy in this test. This is a fun way to have fun while seeing what your NFL football helmet IQ really is.
